From my misc-pics -box here is a photo from a rainy day during our monsoon road trip across Tamil Nadu India in 2018. From lush tea gardens to majestic coconut trees, it was a burst of green.
Welcome to Bloganuary, a WordPress Challenge I am participating in this month, that provides a daily writing prompt throughout January.
Day 7 prompt is: Write a short story or poem about rain.
So here goes my rainy rhyme:

I speak with experience, I wouldn’t lie,
When heavens pour, it’s the best time to cry,
A cocktail of salty tears and clear drops from the sky,
Crying your heart out in the rain is a must try.
.
.
.
.
.
But every dark cloud has a silver lining they say,
The sun tries hard to peep and finally makes it’s way.
The colours of the rainbow may then bring a smile,
Teary outbursts can be good, but only once in a while.

Love it. 🙂
